Re: Oh dear, go away! I don't want to go to your second rate institution...
Heh, good luck there I'm not good enough for the "North Fens Polytechnic" (aka. Cambridge, but we don't mention that)... I'll be applying to oxford instead, as well as the likes of imperial/bath etc... Any that accept subjects with "studies" in the name are crossed off my list.
Re: Oh dear, go away! I don't want to go to your second rate institution...
Not really... 320 points is erm... an average of 3 A-grades. Oxford's average for maths is 500, which of course you won't get (because you're only taking 4 a-levels and not a bunch of other rubbish), but that's an indicator of standards... 320 is poor. you'd be better off around the 400 mark.
Re: Oh dear, go away! I don't want to go to your second rate institution...
What?*
A at A-level = 120 UCAS points
B at A-level = 100 points
C at A-level = 80 points
etc
Thus, 320 points is ABB, or AAC with the As in Physics and Maths.* But, yeah, Bristol is better and will give the same offer, so no going to a university with a 3:2 Female:Male ratio.
