Thread: Cool Google Trick

I came across this eariler today and thought I should share...

1. Go to google.com and select images

2. Search for anything you want

3. Now there should be a page with a bunch of thumbnail images

4. Delete the address bar

5. Copy and paste the code in the attached file into the address bar

Warning this does not work in Firefox! - I recommend IE to this work properly.

I would love to be able to say that I coded that.... but unfortunately I didn't. It works on all websites it just looks better on Google

Reading the code, I'm guessing it rotates the images in a circle? It's kinda cool; you could make a greasemonkey script using that code to do a similar thing in firefox (maybe a few of the terms are different, but the code looks fine).

Right, I'ma go try it, and be prepared to look silly when it doesn't do what I expect.

EDIT:: oh, a different shape. My maths was a little out. When I've got time, I'm totally gonna change it to be a circle

Worked on FireFox for me... All the haters and yet it always seems to prove them wrong. Makes sense why IE has so many more haters!

It works on Firefox 3 but it doesn't on Firefox 2 which was the current release at the time of the first post.

OK That makes sense. No FireFox hating though, especially when we are on a dev. site.

We should start a poll - Firefox or IE I suspect Firefox would win hands down on this site just because of the sort of people we attract. Could be wrong though
