All your what? We're talking about the same burnt-out old rock "legends" aren't we? I'm pretty last time someone took that kind of music seriously was the 80's. Which is where they undoubtedly belong.

b) people take it seriously because it's still good to listen to. We're not talking about anything since Appetite for Destruction, we're talking about the songs when GnR were fresh and rocking. We're not talking about emulating it today.
My point was that it's hard to respect them. Fun to listen to? A matter of opinion. Good? Never. Mostly imo it's fair to say that they (like all artists of their time) didn't benefit from the 20 years of recent history that modern artists have done, so their music lacks the sophistication found in so readily today.
