Thread: Embeding Videos:

You now have the ability to embed videos just by putting the URL page that the video is on in your post and it will automatically embed the relevent video. This should work for 70+ hosting services including YouTube. For UK residents BBC iPlayer can also be embedded in this way

Example:
By just putting the URL in the body of the text (which was copied from the address bar when browsing YouTube) will result in the video being embedded.

S-ah-weet. Don't post the BBC Links. Out of US Can't watch it... That drives me nuts man... Anyone want to let me route through there ports so I can watch your movies? Anyways I figured I'd just bump the sticky topic. Very cool feature.

There isn't a way I know of (not legally anyway). There are rumours of making the BBC iplayer service available in the US in the nearish future.

Some people have been asking which video services are currently supported so here is a list:

• facebook
• Google
• Hulu
• Metacafe
• Vimeo
• YouTube SD/HD

If you want me to add a particular service let me know and I'll see what can be arranged but it is important to note that it's not possible for all services.
