Ive been playing the UT3 demo recently and to say the least it is bloody awesome! And also just to make you lot excessivly jealous im getting an Ageia Physx Processor card and an extra gig o RAM for my PC soon ^^...
I think most people here have custom built PC's... :/ Mine was just custom build a *really long time ago*...
I thought about getting a PhysX card - they're only about ?50 now... but there are about 3 or 4 well-known engines which use them - UE3, the one they use in oblivion, and GRAW... GRAW is the only one of those in which it will make a massive difference (because they hadn't considered that people might not rush out to buy the things) since UE3 will take better improvements from a new gfx card or the like, while Obliv. is not really worth playing anyway imo If Crysis used Physx, along with a few more top-notch games, then I'd think about it. But while I still have a 6600 256mb edition... there seems no point.
Yer i wondered that, its a bit odd isnt it that their releasing a new UT and its still the year of the last one? - Sounds like an "EAish" thing to do, release a new game just after the last has been taken out of the box.
