Seven years after invading Iraq back in 2003 I thought it would be interesting to look back on where we all were when it all kicked off on 20th March 2003.
So where were you when you heard that the invasion had begun and what were you doing?

no idea - i was only 10 back then lol

Yeah, was 10 too on that time. Saddam was just a guy with a funny moustache.
I was 15, and I was at home watching the news when it broke.
However, I wouldn't say the war is over yet. We still have 50,000 "adviser's" there for another year, and well...in Vietnam, most of the war we were just there "advising."

True enough Mudra but at least officially combat is now over.
I'll personally call it over come 2011 when the last US soldier leaves![]()

I guess it depends on your definition of "leaves". I'm prepared to bet that there will be US "advisors" there for years to come - it's just a matter of numbers.
Can we start making 9/11 jokes now?
I was 10 back then too o.O, but I do believe I was reading the news paper/watching the news (2x the info!) when it was announced that we had invaded and that we had a spearhead into Iraq
Too soon man, too soon..
(2011 is ok)
