Thread: ps3/xbox360/pc

hi all, as a total game nut i have all three platforms but i was wondering which ones you have/prefer. personally im partial to the ps3 as a) it doesnt have the problem of breaking down constantly like the 360 b) the graphics on the ps3 are far far better c) the online facilities are better to but thats just my opioion,

I'm a PC man myself but that's mainly because I like being able to upgrade as games get more advanced rather than having to wait for the next version of a console to be released (and then all the old games being incompatible...)

thats very true however the genius of ps3 is that the old games are compatible with the new system as they had to make it worth buying at the time of release, and there is a new up coming console which will make the ps3 look ****. which im looking forward to but il wait for sony's answer to it as sony always provide awesome platforms. i dont think microsoft should really have gone down the platform root as they are much better at software not hardware. maybe sony and microsoft should team up and create a platform together...imagine how awesome that would be. also with the p/c you dont really get 2 player+ where as ps3 and 360 you do =)

To be fair you can if you LAN but playing online is just as good. Especially when your not reliant on one provider working (e.g. Playstation network).

It is true that PS3 is back compatible but what if Xbox release a better console? If I want to move I have to give up all my old games. At least on the PC all hardware is compatible and I can simply choose the best without having to worry about things being compatible as the software and hardware are seperated, unlike in consoles.

as long as you have a stable internet source your fine. also games are limited for p/c. and tbh yes xbox and sony will continue to rival each other and try and top each other all the time but most people will just stick with the company they prefer. also p/c are usually solo games i mean at least on ps3 and 360 you can a friend can play each other on p/c its one controller. i wasnt on about online mode =p

You can't ignore the online mode - the internet is so widely integrated into software these days. One indisputable fact is PCs have better graphics - I can't think of a time when that wasn't true.

ok mr naga come round mine some when and you can play on ps3 and il show you how bad it makes your computer graphics look. just finished dantes inferno on it i was drooling at the graphics they were insane and need i say heavy rain the graphics on that were like duuuuuuuuuuuude. and besides its been ages since ive seen you >.<

dont you use ps3 or 360? do you use purely a pc? yes pc games are fun and you can upgrade but come on what beats sitting in the joey chair (any friends watchers out there?) and playing some intense game with seriously insane graphics in the dark on a huge tv??

PC Graphics are better though and you can get screens as big as a TV and they're higher resolution than most TVs. You've got me on the comfy chair though
