Spam Private Message

We have become aware of a recent breach in our anti-spam protection which allowed a message to be sent to the bulk of the community with the following contents:

A virus alert was noticed on your computer.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately:
...

The user has no affiliation with TWMod.org, Traction Wars Mod or Traction Wars Team as is stated in the message.

We highly recommend you do not follow the link in this message - the user has been banned and we are taking steps to step to increase our spam prevention.

Update:

Added protection has now been put in place which should prevent the same thing happening again, unfortunately there is little we can do to prevent unknown human spammers but we will move as quickly as we can to ban them and to notify you if required.
