Panzer!

Hello and welcome to another update of Traction Wars. We have a small update on the Panzerspähwagen II Ausf. L (PzKpfw IIL) "Luchs" by one of our new team members Wyvern.

On the 15th September 1939 an order was placed for an armoured tracked reconnaissance vehicle. The result of this, after several failed versions, was the Panzer II Ausf.L manufactured by MAN and Daimler-Benz, over a 100 were produced by January 1944. Originally given the experimental designation VK1303 it was adopted under the name Panzersp?hwagen II "Luchs" or Lynx in English. It was fitted with two radios, one for inter-vehicle communication and another for long-range transmissions for reporting findings. The armour varied from 20 to 30mm and weapons consisted of a 2cm main gun & MG34 machine-gun. Both proved to be insufficient and the upgraded variant with an open top and 5cm gun proved unsatisfactory in the view of the crews.

The model shown is the WIP low poly version coming in at just under 20,000 tris, we'll be featuring the high poly version in a future update.

This month we have not only welcomed Wyvern on the team but also Stereotype Anomaly as a composer and Nemesis-Xero as a coder. We look forward to displaying some of their work in a future update. Update looks great! How do you want to go about demonstrating my music Naga? I was thinking we can compile some sort of trailer. We might need more models and work done first though.
