News Update #24: A "Pakage" for Christmas

Hello and welcome to the Update #24 from Traction Wars.

This time we have a couple of in-game screenshots of the PAK40 created by [TWDEV] Sir Apple.

This past year has been an incredible journey for the team. We began the year as a mod on CRYENGINE2 and we end it now as a standalone Play for Free game on CRYENGINE3 with many new talented developers in our ranks and a bright future ahead of us. Nevertheless, we are still looking for new team members so if your interested or just curious about joining the team then take a look to see which positions are currently open. You can find out more about the team and read many of the FAQs we receive from applicants on our recruitment page.

The 7.5 cm Pak 40 began development in 1939 as German designers saw a need for a better, more powerful AT gun, which was proven during the first years of the war. The standard Pak36 and later Pak38 proved unable to destroy enemy medium and heavy tanks, especially the Russian T-34 and KV-1. Introduced in the winter of 1941, the Pak 40 did not become common place until 1943, when it made up the bulk of the German anti-tank artillery.

It fired a highly effective, high velocity APCBC shell, capable of penetrating 132mm of armour at 500m. This made it perfectly capable of destroying any allied medium and most heavy tanks at any battle range. It's size however made it impossible to be moved effectively on foot other than at a slow pace and so it relied heavily on motor transport. This dependency meant that the Pak36 and Pak38 continued to serve in light infantry and fallschirmjager divisions to the end of the war.

It's been a fantastic year for us and we hope it has been for you as well; so from all of us at Traction Wars we would like to offer you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It's always a pleasure to see to have news for Christmas, especially when it is its quality
But a question comes, we saw many weapons guns, grenades, binoculars, car ... but have you ever worked on the characters?

A lot of the old old stuff has/will/is being reworked over time (guns mostly).

We've done a nice amount of first person character stuff

To expand on what Apple has said - yes we have and some are in-game but we're saving showing them until we're completely happy with the result.
