Thread: Will there be the Kubelwagen?

I always loved to drive around with it in Battlefield
Especially after giving him a monster engine and playing with suspension and stuff.

We are not sure about this yet, I do fear something you see often in Battlefield: racing around and roadkilling people. Ofcourse this is alot of fun it does not fit in our gameplay. But on the other hand, together with the Willys it is a very iconic vehicle.

I think that's a matter of balancing. If it's too risky to drive around in open space they will remain what they are: (iconic) transport vehicles to bring a small raiding party quickly to another part of the front, which can be a nice tactical option.

I don't mind driving (over people) in the heat of battle. Sure, I'll leave some casualties behind me but it's awesome none the less.

The kubel will eventually be made, yes, but we will try to make it work so that it isn't used unrealistically as a quick vehicle to zip through the front.
