Thread: Problems Running Warhead

Hi Guys, I just bought Crysis Warhead and so far things aren't going well... Basically the Autorun menu doesn't respond to anything I click on (The music plays and I get a beep when ever I move over a button). I managed to get the "Play" button to work (clicked on it..lots). And the game hasn't actually started (Been waiting 20minutes so far).
Any ideas?

I've not heard of that problem before, mine ran perfectly first time. I do however have 2 questions:

What are you system specs?
Has this happened every time tried running the game or is this the first time you've run the game?

I know the problems not exactly unique (I've found one other person, and yes that is me on that page too http://au.gamespot.com/pages/forums/sho ... d=26606714)*
Yeah, it it the first time I've tried running it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the menu's unresponsive even when theres none of the game installed! However I do get one message during installation: "Macodmedia Flash Not Found" or something like that (I'll download the latest version tommorow.)

1. Right Specs. Off the top of my head:
Asus G1S
Windows Vista (Ultimate)
Intel Core Two Duo 2.0Ghz
Nvidea 8600
200GB Hardrive 7'200rpm (Western Digital)

Sounds like installing flash would be your first port of call. Sorry I can't be more help.

No problem, I'll put up another post tommorow and see if Flash makes any difference.*

Ok after searching around I think I've finally found the solution. From what I can tell from other people with the same problem is your DVD drive. So you can either try putting it into a different drive (if you have more than one) or try copy and pasting the whole DVD into a folder on your hard drive and then install it from there.

I got a black screen the first time I tried. Then nothing every other time. Might just be that the disc's faulty. Or I need a new computer (as always) .

Have you tried playing Crysis Wars?

If you get a black screen that mean well that your graphics card isnt supported, meaning its not good enough to paly it, sorry mate

He's got a 8600 and Warhead is meant to support 6800 GT +*
