Thread: Crysis 2

The first official images from Crysis 2 have been released.

Taking place in New York city, Crysis 2 brings highly vertical gameplay to the table, made possible with the Nanosuit 2, developed by Crynet Systems. The first of these images includes a Nanosuit-clad character in an all-too-familiar pose, with a backdrop of destruction as the city is laid to waste. The second features Crynet Ops infantry in combat with the Nanosuit 2 whilst the city crumbles down around them, for reasons that will be revealed in due time.

Looks nice and all but my PC will never run that .

Exactly my thoughts - Urban combat should be a nice change

I agree, eventhough it will be hard to compeat alongside the upcomming BFBC2 and WM2, which are both set in modern times. I do hope it will have atleast some Crysis-feel to it; an I Am Legend scenario perhaps: The nature have taken over the city, claiming it piece by piece. I think that would be pretty darn sweet(!)

I never really got into the Crysis thing. Game looks awesome, awesome engine, etc. but the Nanosuit thing is not my thing Bit too sci-fi for ol' Fuchsy.

I would admit that BFBC2 is awesome, just played it yesterday. But as it is said in the little description. The building will give an awesome aspect of verticality fight.

More way to defeat enemies...

Couple of nanosuits and a load of aliens should liven it up a bit By the looks of it the city is going to be destroyed so should solve the problem for you
